Caithlin De Marrais - My Magic City

We’re elated to announce our reissue of My Magic City, the first solo
album by Rainer Maria’s Caithlin De Marrais. Originally released on
Brooklyn imprint End Up Records, it appears now for the first time on
vinyl.

Fans of Caithlin’s close mic work on intimate Rainer Maria songs like
“Rise,” and “Spit and Fire” will be taken in by the indelible humanity of
these performances, which were record live in a single room and range
from chill analog acoustic arrangements to impressionistic postgaze minimal trap meditations.

Made vivid by mixing genius Dave Schiffman (Adele, Mars Volta, Johnny
Cash), the album also includes a lush stereo guitar solo from Dean Wareham
(Galaxie 500, Luna, Dean & Britta) on “Outer Space Is Still Sexy.”
