A DECADE OF SKELETAL LIGHTNING 💀⚡😻

We can't believe it ourselves, but October marks the 10th Anniversary of Skeletal Lightning! #skeletallightning10

What started as a tiny music blog covering our favorite midwest DIY bands quickly shifted into a label and fest run out of a tiny apartment closet, which then grew into something bigger than we ever could’ve imagined. 

Throughout our time as a label, we've had the immense pleasure of teaming up with some of the best bands on the planet (at least in our humble opinion). Our 100+ releases proudly feature artists from 8 different countries, 20 different states, and from genres from all across the map. Our artists have been featured in Pitchfork, NPR, Billboard, Stereogum, BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, and even Vanity Fair. Our artists have also been played on national TV networks and have toured all around the globe. And we still can’t believe how lucky we are to get to work with our fantastic artists every single day.

All of this doesn’t come without the support of our loyal fans, and for that we’re forever grateful. Especially those that’ve been with us since day one! THANK YOU for rocking with us this past decade. We truly wouldn't be here without you and we can’t wait to share what we’ve got up our sleeves next.
